We all need a helping hand when we start on a new venture, and at Big Boy Media over the last 8 years we have regularly assisted owners of start-up firms to get moving on up the ladder of success with the correct foundations in place for their business strategy. As with many things in life, making money is not always easy and the main reason we can assume that an estimated 50% of other UK start-ups go out of business in the first few years of trading is short-sightedness, lack of proper planning and the wrong foundations on which to build your business.
Specialising in online aspects of new businesses, although we cover a wide range of business markets, we can assist with:
Start-Up Funding - Grant, Loan or Equity based. We have worked with Business Link and NEEIC since our formation, and more recently with Be Enterprising, NStar, Catalyst, Entrust, Software City (Newcastle, Sunderland and Liverpool) and more.
Advisory Support - from independent advisors, who scrutinize all aspects of your Business idea and study your competitors to give you the best possible start in your marketplace.
Marketplace Research - Independent and in-house for smaller start-ups looking to save costs, and we also use a nationally-respected market research firm for major or high-growth clients looking for strong investment (£15k minimum spend)
Business Plan Development - from standard Business Plans to secure office space or complete Investment Ready Business Plans for large companies or those seeking sizeable investment opportunities.
Training - Funded workshop-based training schemes, 1-1 or in groups, by specialist 3rd party providers - many of which can be funded depending on criteria and application. Not restricted to specialist IT services, we can also offer assistance with schemes for new business owners to tackle hot topics such as End of Year accounts, Corporation Tax, PAYE and more (usually 100% funded and locally-based).
For established businesses, we can offer breakthrough support for new markets as well as overseas export advice through our relationship with the UK Trade and Investment centre.
