I have an extensive back catalogue of videos, can I stream them?

Yes, it is possible to capture and convert video into streaming media. It fact we'll do it, at no extra cost!

Do I need a special server?

No, although a dedicated streaming server will substantially improve user performance. Traditional web servers were designed to deliver simple web pages, and the underlying infrastructure is not best suited to delivering streaming media, resulting in a sometimes slow and patchy service. On the other hand, a dedicated streaming server is designed to deliver streaming media as fast and efficiently as possible - and for this reason have prices to match this service! The good news is that you don't have to invest in a dedicated server for your media files, we can host and manage it for you on our fast and affordable web servers.
